Description:

Bradford u3a is part of a UK-wide movement of locally-run organisations for those in their third 'age' of life - usually retired, semi retired or a carer. We have interest groups that provide a wide range of opportunities to come together to meet for friendship, share interests and learn new ideas, skills and activities for fun and we try to ensure that no one feels excluded or lonely.

We have over 275 members and our 40 interest groups meet about 53 times every month. The interest groups include everything from Archaeology / Geology, Art Appreciation, Arts On Screen, Biography, Books, Bridge, Crafts, Creative Writing, Cryptic Crosswords, Current Issues and Disputes, English Language, Family History, French Conversation, French for Beginners. Gardens and Green Group, History, International Dining, Latin, Looking at old Buildings, Lunch Groups, Opera Lovers, Pickleball, Poetry Appreciation, Political History, Racketball, Snooker, Social Cycling, Spanish Conversation, Spanish for Beginners, Table Tennis, Tech Help, Ten Pin Bowling, Theatre Visits, Walking Groups. There's something for everyone.
