Description:

Part of the Trussell Trust National Foodbank Network. Opened in January 2015. Covering the following postcode areas: BD2, BD9, BD10, BD17, BD18 and also Aireborough (LS19, LS20).
We offer three-day, nutritionally balanced food parcels to people referred to us with food vouchers. Vouchers are held by many local professional and voluntary organisations - those that work with or come across local people in need of emergency food aid to help them through a tough time. We have four Bradford-based distribution centres and one in Rawdon. In Bradford we are based at: Church on the Way (BD10) on Monday afternoons, Shipley Baptist Church (BD18) on late Monday and Thursday afternoons, Christchurch Windhill (BD18) on Tuesday afternoons and St Luke's Church (BD2) on Thursday mornings.
Our distribution centres are set up as pop-up cafes, providing a warm, safe space to take a break from difficult circumstances, receive refreshments and a food parcel, have a chance to chat and obtain signposting to further support.
We are currently running a financial inclusion project where qualified benefits advisors are available at foodbank centres or by telephone appointment.
