Description: AWARE supports parents, carers, siblings, professionals and interested parties in the care and support of those with an autistic spectrum condition. Open to anyone involved with a person with an autistic spectrum condition, or who has an ASC diagnosis themselves. We have a monthly newsletter and meetings with speakers on relevant topics, also an extensive library on autism. We run youth clubs, a holiday scheme, monthly trips scheme for 12 - 16s and over 16s and other children's activities.
Children's activities mainly based at Addingham Youth Centre.
Membership open to anyone, not exclusive to those living in Airedale and Wharfedale. We don't insist on children/young people having a diagnosis before joining.
