We are a group of rug makers who meet at Bradford Industrial museum once a month. We welcome new members, our current membership is £12 a year. Please see our web pages for further details of our meetings.
We get involved in lots of activities, over the last four years we have been working with Bradford Libraries to make a WW1 reading commemorative rug that will be used for childrens reading events. This last year we have exhibited atYork Castle museum in conjunction with threads of war, and will be exhibiting at Bradford Mechanics Institute.
We made rag rug bunting to show at the International meeting of rug makers (Tighr) at Reeth in October this year.
We have worked with the The Big Ideas company this year to produce a wreath for "the Unremembered" in WW1. It has been on show at the National Army Museum in London, together with other wreaths, and we were honoured to lay it at the Cenotaph in London as part of the Peoples Parade.
