Bupa UK Foundation Caring for Carers grants, deadline 5 October 2018 (midnight) 3 September 2018 "There are more than one million carers aged over 65 in the UK. It is estimated that carers aged over 70 provide more than 60 hours of care a week and that almost one in ten carers are aged over 85." In this funding programme the Bupa UK Foundation is looking to support practical, community focused projects designed to help carers aged over 65 to manage and improve their own health and wellbeing. Grants of up to £20,000 are available for projects that can be completed within 12 to 18 months.

Tampon Tax community fund small grants, deadline 5 November 2018 17 September 2018 The Tampon Tax community fund is offering grants of £5,000 to £10,000 to support projects working with women and girls. Projects can be funded for up to 12 months. Bradford district is an area eligible for funding. Applicants must demonstrate how they meet one or more of the following objectives: Building skills and confidence, for example, supporting women and girls to learn new skills, giving them the ability to apply for new jobs and/or return to the workplace.
