Comic Relief grants: Tackling Violence against Women and Girls 20 April 2018 Comic Relief has announced a new fund, "Tackling Violence against Women and Girls" to support organisations that are working to end violence and abuse experienced by women and girls across the UK. "Proposals are welcome from across the UK. We expect to make up to 40 grants of £60,000 to £120,000 for between one and three years. We may award grants larger than £120,000 to those bidding in partnership with others.

Shipley Area Community Chest, deadline 29 June 2018 16 May 2018 Grants of up to £350 are available from Shipley Area Committee for community projects that benefit residents of Shipley Constituency. Applications are particularly welcome from new projects, innovative schemes and from previously unfunded groups. Ongoing costs such as venue hire and staffing will only be funded through a start-up grant for new organisations. Grants will not normally be provided for ICT-related equipment or websites. Applications are welcome from groups where other funding/fundraising has been secured.

"We welcome submissions from community groups of all shapes and sizes - all we ask is that you are not a registered charity as we are looking to support smaller groups who struggle to find funding elsewhere." iwill Youth Social Action grants Bradford, deadline 28 June 2018 (12 noon) 23 May 2018 Leeds Community Foundation is managing the iwill Youth Social Action fund for Bradford district. "Social action" involves activities such as campaigning and volunteering which enable participants to make a positive difference to their communities. Grants from £1,000 to £5,000. Go Higher West Yorkshire grants, deadline 28 June 2018 (12 noon) 31 May 2018 Go Higher West Yorkshire is working with Leeds Community Foundation to provide community grants for activities that aim to increase the number of young people going into higher education from areas where progression rates are currently low. Go Higher West Yorkshire grants of £1,000 to £2,500 and £5,000 to £15,000 are available for activity to support young people aged 13 to 19 to make informed choices about higher education.
