Hosting Coordinator

BEACON is a charity working to meet the varied needs of people seeking asylum in the Bradford district through its three projects: Hosting, CHAT English club and McKenzie Friends. Following a recent strategic review, we are seeking to appoint a highly organised, self-motivated person to take on the coordination and development of our Hosting Project.

The project provides temporary accommodation in the homes of volunteer hosts to people who are at risk of destitution following a negative outcome at the end of the asylum process.

The Hosting Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting a pool of volunteer hosts, managing placements and ongoing support for hosts and guests, developing relationships and liaising with referral & partner agencies, maintaining systems of monitoring & evaluation and expanding & developing the project.
