The newly created Development Officer post aims to increase fundraising expertise and capacity in the team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain a rounded experience of fundraising across different disciplines, with a focus on Trust & Grant fundraising and building the new Individual Giving programme.

You will be working with staff in different departments to develop and fundraise for a variety of community dance projects, dance festivals and artist development projects.

You will be based in our city-centre building which hosts our offices, studio spaces and regular performances, giving you a real insight and experience of working in a lively performance venue. There will also be plenty of opportunities to visit our projects.

You don’t need a background in the arts but previous experience of fundraising is essential. We’re looking for someone who is keen to develop their fundraising skills, has bags of initiative, is a warm and enthusiastic team player with a keen interest in the arts and social justice.
