Parent Participation Champion

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Stronger Families team as an Parent Participation Champion. 

The Stronger Families programme is part of Building Better Opportunities, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund. The programme is delivered in Bradford and Leeds to support families to overcome the barriers preventing access to education, training, employment and skills building. 

We are looking for an exceptional Parent Participation Champion to support the Stronger Families Programme. We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the need for parent and community participation and the issues related to the engagement of under-represented communities. You will have experience of working with parents and have an understanding of the difficulties and challenges faced by families affected by employment issues.  

This programme is delivered as a partnership across both Leeds and Bradford and the views of parents and families are crucial to the development and success of the programme.  We want parents and families to have both voice and influence at all levels of the programme from service delivery to board representation.  The Parent Participation Champion will play a key role in achieving this.

Although this contract has a permanent status, please be aware that this post is subject to funding currently to January 2023 and therefore should this funding not be extended further, you may be subject to a redundancy consultation or a TUPE arrangement.

This contract is due to expire in January 2023.
