Horton Community Farm is a project run by local people on 1.75 acres of Cecil Avenue Allotments. We are creating an inspirational permaculture project for food growing and community resilience through 5 main strands of work; environmental education & forest schools, volunteering, horticultural therapy, wildlife and food growing. We welcome volunteers who are essential to the continuing of this project. Benefits of volunteering with us include getting outdoors, learning skills, meeting people and expanding your CV. We are committed to creating a collective resource for the community and preserving the large urban allotment site as a whole. We are established as a cooperative organisation and registered as a limited company. We operate as a social enterprise and any profit we generate is invested back into the project.
