Ilkley Angling Association was formed in the 1920’s but its history goes right back to the formation of Ilkley Angling Club in 1887.

For the past 100 years the club has controlled angling rights on the River Wharfe where it flows through Ilkley.

There is no joining fee but an annual subscription is charged https://ilkleyanglingassociation.co.uk/membership/

Membership shall be at the discretion of the Committee and all members must be in possession of a current Environment Agency Rod Licence, when fishing club waters.

Association members have access to other game and coarse fishing waters in West and North Yorkshire provided through partnerships with Knaresborough Piscatorials, Wetherby and District Angling Club and Skipton Angling Association.
