Description:

We aim to provide a responsive, person-centred personalised support package to enhance and enrich the quality of people’s lives, with the highest possible quality of professional care. We promote independence and wellbeing, ensuring users and carers’ rights come first. We provide a range of services which promote:
Enjoyment
Independence
Respect
Dignity
Equality, diversity, opportunity and choice.

The support we provide is based on a assessment of the individual’s needs. The Registered Manager/Care Co-Ordinator will assess and discuss your requirements, listening to your needs. They will explain the service and the information pack, discuss consent and care plans. The service will be tailor-made to your requirements whilst respecting your wishes throughout, developing the care plan together. We will seek to match you with one or more Support Workers and pride ourselves in ensuring continuity of care by providing the same support workers. This creates stronger relationships with the person, carer and families and assists in giving peace of mind.

Care@carersresource offers a wide range of services to individuals over 18 with:
physical disabilities
sensory loss, including those with dual sensory impairment
mental health problems
learning disabilities
Autism
Asperger’s

As we have provided care in the local community for many years – and understand the challenges facing someone trying to navigate the care maze at the point they think they might need care for themselves or a loved one – it’s our job to make this as easy as possible.

Home care is usually planned as a series of daily visits at agreed times across the day. Our service aim is to uphold the person’s dignity, privacy, independence and security at all times. If you need help with personal care we can provide assistance and our service can be flexible to reflect a person’s social activities. These visits can include the following as a guide:

Getting in and out of bed
Personal care: bathing, washing, catheter care, continence management
Personal grooming – help with dressing or undressing , hair and teeth care
Mobility assistance – all our staff are trained to use equipment and adaptations
Medication assistance – from a basic prompt to more comprehensive support
