Shipley Stroke Club

Description A self help group of stroke survivors and their carers offering mutual help and support. Our activities include discussions, arts and crafts, computers, quizzes, exercises, food preparation, food hygiene training and various other activities. We meet on Tuesdays (11.00am to 12.00pm) for coffee and discussions at the Hare and Hounds on Toller Lane. Thursday sessions are held at Haworth Road Methodist Church (9.30am to 3.30pm). The group has a flexible start and finish to fit with your health needs and the access bus. Subscription: �30 annual membership. Entry at the Hare and Hounds is free (buy your own coffees) while a �5 weekly contribution is asked for at Haworth Road Methodist Church. We welcome new members. Shipley Stroke Club is an independent community group affiliated to the Stroke Association.
