VCSE Health & Wellbeing Fund, Social Prescribing, deadline 21 November 2017 13 September 2017 The Department of Health and Public Health England are inviting applications to the Health and Wellbeing Fund to set up a new social prescribing scheme or to support the expansion of an existing scheme. How much and what for? Up to £300,000 is available (tapering over up to 3 years).

Children's Health Fund Holiday Food Fund, deadline 6 October 2017 13 September 2017 The Children's Health Fund believes that no child should go hungry, and recognises that for some children during the school holidays there is a vital food provision gap that needs filling. Organisations that want to provide good food as part of holiday learning, play and activity programmes are invited to apply for funding from The Holiday Food Fund between £1,000 and £5,000. It is expected that applications at the higher end of this scale (£5,000) will be for projects looking to expand their existing work.

Skills for Work apprenticeship funding (while funds last) 18 September 2017 Skills for Work is part of Bradford Council and is a training provider that delivers apprenticeship programmes and assists employers with apprenticeship recruitment. You may be aware that the way apprenticeships are funded has recently changed and availability of funded courses is due to change from 01/01/2018. Skills for Work currently still has funding and this will be available on a 'first come first served' basis until the end of December 2017.
