This includes several e-learning videos that trustees, staff and volunteers may find useful.  It can be easy to think that fraud is only an issue that happens at large national organisations but it is a significant potential issue for any group. Community Shares Booster programme 7 December 2017 "The Community Shares Booster Programme is a funding scheme to support community share offers. It will invest equity up to £100,000 to match community shares in societies that can demonstrate higher than average levels of community impact, innovation and engagement. The programme will also provide development grants of up to £10,000 to help societies get investment ready and meet standards of good practice. Match funding will be in the form of equity held on equal terms with other community shareholders."

Nesta, Rethinking Parks awards

Nesta, Rethinking Parks awards 7 December 2017 Nesta has launched Rethinking Parks a programme with two different awards that will help support "parks innovators". The fund has a total of £2million to allocate. The funder is defining parks as "public open spaces laid out formally for leisure and recreation."

Sport England - Community Asset Fund, no deadlines 6 February 2017 Sport England's new Community Asset Fund is open for applications. The funder's aims are to: Improve and protect existing sports facilities that support the needs of local communities. Invest in new and different places that meet the needs of local communities, which include Sport England's target audiences. Ensure capital investment reaches organisations that have not been funded by Sport England before. Create a more resilient, sustainable, less grant dependent sport sector.

RDPE Growth Programme rural tourism infrastructure grants 2 March 2017 Grant funding is available through the RDPE Growth Programme for projects in England that create jobs and growth in the rural economy.
