Have your say on Bradford Council’s 2012-13 budget proposals
Bradford Council has launched a consultation on their budget proposals for 2012-13 and two events are being organised for community organisations to discuss the implications of the proposals.
Bradford Council has released its budget proposals for the next
financial year. The Council wants to hear the views of local
people, businesses and organisations about its initial budget
proposals for 2012-13, which were considered by the Council
Executive at its meeting on Friday, 6 January 2012.
Bradford Council's website now has a page with further
information on the 2012-13 budget proposals.
The consultation document is available to download from
there in either PDF or DOC format.
Once you are familiar with the 2012-13 budget proposal, you can
have your say by completing the council's public
consultation survey. The consultation will be open
until Tuesday, 7 February 2012.
The budget will be determined at a meeting of Full Council
on Thursday, 23 February 2012 when councillors will take into
consideration the comments made during this public consultation,
along with other consultations held previously, including the
Bradford District Perception Survey, the Contribution to Care
review and consultations about priorities for the district, held as
part of the development of the Community Strategy.
Two events are being organised for community organisations to
discuss the implications of the budget proposals:
Wednesday 18th January 2012, 4-6pm at Central Hall,
Alice Street, Keighley, BD21 3JD.
