We are inviting applications from colleagues in the voluntary and community sector to join the Council’s future leader experience.
Would you like to join a programme of learning to increase your leadership skills, improve your understanding of Bradford and network with potential future leaders of the district?
We are delighted to offer the ‘Future Leaders Experience’, a comprehensive and practical development programme for Bradford’s next generation of aspiring leaders.
This programme will focus on understanding Bradford, its vibrancy, vision and aspirations, its diversity, and its role as one of the United Kingdom’s major cities.
The programme is delivered in a modular format covering a range of themes and challenges.
Working with up to twenty colleagues from the Council and voluntary and community sector, you are promised a rich, highly focussed and rewarding learning experience.
“At Bradford Council we recognise the crucial role that inspirational, committed and effective leaders play in achieving high quality outcomes for the people of the District.“ – Kersten England
This experiential learning programme will last around eleven months. Training and learning events will take up around two to three working days per month. You will be expected to commit a similar amount of personal time to your learning and development.
Through this process we seek to improve our representation at all levels within the district. This programme is open to any eligible employee from the VCS*, regardless of position, status or background.
