If you provide services in the Keighley Central Area I would like to invite you to the Community Led Support Roadshow this will be an opportunity to better understand the direction of travel of the department of Health and Wellbeing and make sure social workers and other staff know about the activities you provide: You will learn more about Community led support and how it can be implemented to support people in your area to deliver positive outcomes and involve people in their local communities.

We are looking for local providers to man stalls to share what you do with attendees on the day. The event is aimed at Social Workers, Local councillors, local VCS organisations, Ward Officers and wardens so will be an excellent networking opportunity.

We will be looking at Community led support and how it can be implemented to support people across the district to deliver positive outcomes and involve people in their local communities.
Community Led Support (CLS) is based on a set of principles for how social care support should be delivered. These are implemented in ways that are determined by people directly delivering services along with local partners and members of the community they are serving. It builds on what is already working, joining up good practice and strengthening common sense, empowerment and trust. CLS assists organisations to work collaboratively with their communities and their staff teams to redesign a service that works for everyone that evolves and is continually refined based on learning.

9am -11am there will be presentations and facilitated discussions

11am-1pm there will be a market place with information stalls from local providers, Public Health and commissioned services focused on what is available in the Keighley Central area
