Updating
How we used to update
With the old DIVA website, each group was written to twelve
months after their last update to check that they are still
operating and to make sure we have the latest information about
them. This process was done by sending paper update forms in the
post.
How we will be updating in the future
With this new website, the long term plan is that the old
process will be replicated but online, where groups have email
addresses and access to the internet. Groups will be able to log in
to DIVA and update their own information.
In the meantime...
While we fine-tune this process, if you wish to have details for
your group, your venue, or your service updated, the simplest thing
is going to be to send us a message detailing which parts of
your listing you would like updating, and what the new information
should be.
Alternatively, you can phone us on 01274 434572 and tell us the
new information over the phone. This option is best when there are
just one or two minor amendments. If you have a lot of changes to
make, an email would be better.
If you are viewing other people's records that you know are out of
date, and if you have any information you think would be useful to
us in terms of updating or improving the information, we would very
much welcome your feedback to help keep DIVA as accurate and
detailed as possible. Please get in touch if you see any record you
think could be improved.
